Katherine Andrews is a former journalist who produced, hosted and directed live radio programs on Canada’s national public broadcaster CBC for seven years.

A graduate of writing programs at UCLA and The Second City, her first produced feature film, BETWEEN WAVES, which she co-wrote with director Virginia Abramovich, will be released in 2020. She contributed as a writer and story editor on the children’s series ROBOTIK (to be broadcast on TFO -Télévision Française de l'Ontario). Previously, she was a writer and story editor on season two of the web series JUST PASSING THROUGH, which won a Canadian Comedy Award in 2016.

Katherine has had three short film scripts produced. WORDS WITH WHO?, was optioned and produced by L.A.-based Milepost 42 Films and won Best Romantic Comedy at the 2017 Twin Falls Sandwiches Film Festival. R+J 4EVA (2016) was a selection of the National Screen Institute's online short film festival.
